Annual reports tend to be dull and full of pages with numbers and text. We were tasked with developing the annual report for Union Mission to include excitement and intrigue not only for the board of directors but for donors and potential donors who are curious to see how funds are managed at this nonprofit. It was a fun but challenging request to come up with a theme and all the visuals needed to present that theme as well as maintaining the integrity of the annual report. We still had to show the numbers, but we were able to do so in a most chivalrous way.
